Good evening Guppy Families,

First, thank you all for coming to the SCR/WCR kickoff party on Friday. It was definitely a HUGE success. Thank you to Jami and Lauren for making it happen and for all the other volunteers who helped us make it a successful event. If you weren't able to make it, don't worry we have more fun events planned! See below for what's coming up. But business first.

We are so excited to start guppy practices TOMORROW. Check out the attachment to see which group your child will be in.  Since we have so many guppies this year, we did add a 4^th group – the Green Group- so that your guppy will have more time in the water during their practice time!

Guppy Practice Times:

BLUE GROUP- 4:30-5:00

YELLOW GROUP- 5:00-5:30

GREEN GROUP – 5:30-6:00

WHITE GROUP- 6:00-6:30

MERCHANDISE:

Amy Nasiatka will be at the entrance of the pool T/TH from 4:30-5:30 to hand out merchandise ordered online. Clothing, visors, and personalized swim caps are still in production. All other items will be available for pick up.

Sponsorships:

There is still time to be a sponsor for the Sharks! If you or anyone you know would like be a sponsor and have their banner displayed at the pool all summer, please contact Megan Southerland @ [email protected] for more information.

Monday 5/16: Nomadik Few snow cones at practice 4:30-6:30

OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS:

*Please remind your swimmers to gather ALL their belongings when they leave practice and throw away ALL trash on their way out! There is already a good collection in the Lost & Found, so please check it for any missing items.

*Swim lessons: I am attaching a list of all our coaches and their numbers. Please contact them directly to schedule lessons for your swimmer!

*T-shirt contest: I need your help with this one! I need parents, friends, neighbors, anyone you know that ever swam with the SCR Sharks to go to the Facebook page and find the post about this contest and post your favorite “Vintage” SCR t-shirt.
