New Awards Tradition
What a great night for our swimmers celebrating the season last night!
I wanted to explain a few things around a new tradition that we have started.
This year we gave out personalized medals to all of our swimmers. On the ribbon of the medal there is a pin with the year 2021 on it. Instead of getting a new medal or trophy every year, we thought it would be more special to add a pin with the year on it to the same ribbon. That way when your swimmer is a senior and finishes out their swimming career, they have one medal with all of their years on it!
- Next year, on awards banquet night, you will bring your medal and we will add the year 2022.
- If you lose your medal, you will be able to reorder a new one (at your expense).
If you are in the 13/up age groups, your medal did not a have a pin on it due to an error made by the trophy store. We will get you your pin ASAP.
