Hey Shark and Baby Shark Families!  We have our first away meet tomorrow!  Here are some of the details. Let me know if you have any questions!  

Stone Lake

707 Chick Springs Rd, Greenville, SC 29609

Meet start time is 4pm

Warm ups:

• 10 and under- 3:15-3:30
• 11 and up- 3:30-3:45

Swimmer Drop Off:

Follow the one-way traffic pattern into the pool parking lot.  Please drop off your swimmers at the gate entrance to the pool.

PARKING:

Parking in the Stone Lake Pool Parking lot is by permit only. Parking is available at League Academy. Please follow the directions of the traffic officers. 

Swimmer Set Up

Swimmers can set up chairs or tents in the designated area of the lower parking lot.

Spectators on Deck:

They have bleachers set up on the hill next to the pool for viewing.  There will be no chairs set up on deck.  Whether family/friends can come on to view swimmers is still TBD.   

BAD WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN

• Very Heavy Rain: In case of heavy rain, swimmers will be asked to leave the tent area and move their possessions to the upper parking lot(s). Please be ready to assist the children in making this move.
• Severe Weather: In the event of severe weather, all spectators should return to their cars. We will be in touch with the National Weather Service to monitor potentially bad weather in the area. The referee or the host pool lifeguard shall make the decision to halt the meet due to inclement weather. The decision to restart the meet must be the unanimous decision of the referee, all participating SAIL representatives and the host pool lifeguard.

Heat Sheets:

• Heat sheets will be available for $2 each.

Concessions:

Stone Lake Concessions will be located in the club house. Their menu includes burgers and hot dogs plus many other items.

Restroom Facilities

Restroom facilities for all swimmers and spectators are across the pool in the red roof cabana building.

Alcohol

As part of your SAIL organization by-laws, no alcohol is permitted during SAIL-sponsored events.
