Hi Shark Families!

It’s finally here…BATTLE OF THE CREEK SPIRIT WEEK!

There will be a different theme for each morning practice this week, with some special events along the way. Our Shark Coaches are ready to celebrate the last week of our season, which is of course leading up to our final showdown, the Battle of the Creek! Your swimmers are encouraged to join in the fun!

Make sure to mark your calendar – we have a big week ahead! And while we have themes planned for each morning practice, your swimmer will still need their swimsuit and towel as we will be practicing.

Also - don’t forget to decorate your front door to show your Shark spirit (you might even win a prize!)

Monday, July 13^th

• AM Practice Theme: PAJAMAS! Wear your favorite pajamas!
• Regular PM practice
• Make sure to pre-order Marco’s Pizza for after Thursday's parade here - orders due today, Monday 7/13!!

Tuesday, July 14th

• AM Practice Theme: HAWAIIAN! Hula on over for a Shark Luau! Hawaiian shirts and skirts welcome!
• Regular PM practice
• GLOW PARTY NIGHT PRACTICE!
• 8:30 – 9:15pm: 11-12 Night Practice
• 9:15 – 10pm: 13 & Up Night Practice

Wednesday, July 15th

• AM Practice Theme: COLLEGE SPORTS RULE! Will football happen? Who knows…but go ahead and represent your fave college team anyway!
• PM Practice: Water Polo Match! Get ready to hop in an inner tube and paddle away to make sure your team is victorious! Regular PM practice times – we will have our water polo games during each age group practice.

Thursday, July 16th

• AM Practice Theme: PATRIOTIC SHARK! Wear your red, white, and blue to show off your love for the USA!
• PARADE @ 5pm: Meet at the pool parking lot and parade around the neighborhood to check out door decorations in your decorated golf carts / vehicles. Best decorations will win a prize! After the parade we will head back to the pool parking lot / front lawn where we will vote on and announce the winners! If you ordered your pizza then you just need to grab some drinks and chairs - we'll be hanging out on the front lawn (no swimming). After dinner we will all head home for a good night's sleep before Battle of the Creek!

Friday, July 17th

• AM Practice only
• 4:30pm: 10 & Under Warmups @ Woody Creek
• 5pm: Battle of the Creek Meet @ Woody Creek (10 & Unders)

Saturday, July 18^th

• 8:30am: 11 & Up Warmups @ Woody Creek
• 9am: Battle of the Creek Meet @ Woody Creek (11 & Up)

• Coaches’ bonuses are due by Thursday, July 16th. See Jen Charles or Bridie Rosenberg with any questions.
• Our Awards Celebration is 6pm on Thursday, July 23rd.
