Hi Shark Families!

We are getting ready for our make-up meet this Thursday, 6/25, AND planning for next week’s meet on Tuesday, 6/30! Lots of important info in this email – please read in its entirety :)

Thursday 6/25 at 5pm vs. GCC

• Entries are finalized. Relays are set. Swimmers get excited!
• We do still need volunteers for the meet. If you haven’t signed up, jobs are open on Swimtopia. Please take a moment and sign up!
• Most importantly, don’t forget to hop on Swimtopia and order your Chick-Fil-A by 2pm tomorrow (Wednesday!) You will be so sad you forgot to order when everyone else is devouring their delicious sandwiches and nuggets.

Tuesday 6/30 at 5pm vs. SL

• Please declare your intent for your swimmer(s) to participate in the meet and if you are participating, sign up for a volunteer position.
• Your swimmers can swim 3 events!
• YOU MUST DECLARE YOUR INTENT TO SWIM BY NOON THIS FRIDAY! Our coaches work hard planning each meet so we really need you to declare on time! If not your swimmer may miss the chance to be in a relay or be part of the meet at all.

Virtual Meet Reminders:

• We will not be hosting another team in person - it will just be our team again!
• Volunteers are requested to wear a mask. Coaches will be wearing masks, as they have been at practice.
• There will be NO cars in the parking lot as we will be using it for families to tailgate in. Golf carts will be allowed!
• You will be able to drop your swimmer / tailgating items off using the Briar Creek Rd cul de sac beginning at 4pm.
• Parking will be available at Covenant United Methodist Church.
• No pool chairs or tailgate chairs allowed on the pool deck, except for our swimmers.
• We suggest parents enter the pool ONLY to watch their swimmer.
• No concessions. Pack LOTS of concession type snacks because that's why your kids want to come to meets.
• Spirit Event - After the meets, there will be a pool party. The party will not begin until the pool deck is put back together (which should be easy this year!). Please stay to help and let the kids swim.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR “BATTLE OF THE CREEK”

• In place of Divisionals, we are holding our first ever “BATTLE OF THE CREEK” July 17^th and 18^th. It’s going to be one for the books – Woody Creek Waves vs. Sugar Creek Sharks – in an epic 2 day event. More details will be announced soon!

MERCHANDISE

• If you ordered a t-shirt or swim cap and were not able to pick it up during practice, please swing by 109 Middle Brook Rd and grab your items from the front porch :)
