Hello Shark Families!

Our first ever IntraSquad QuaranSwim Virtual Meet is tomorrow, June 11^th, at 5pm! Please read this email in its entirety so that you are prepared for this new and different kind of meet!

Events for Virtual Meet

Swimmer events can be found on Swimtopia, and the file is attached. Go to the Signup Calendar under the Meets & Events tab. Meet Entry is closed but if you click on that button, you'll see a list of your swimmer's events. Event numbers may look a little different, but that's because this meet is a little different! You can also see your volunteer position and shift under Job Signup.

Meet Setup

We'll be setting up the pool deck tomorrow morning at 9am, during practice. We welcome all help! We'll be glad to direct you and give you a job if you're willing! If you can stack lounge chairs or carry a mat, you can be used!

T-Shirts

T-shirts are in! Sarah Whitmire will have them at practice tomorrow morning. Because of our crazy timeline this year, caps are not in yet from Alpine Ski (we expected this). We will notify you just as soon as they come in. We might not be hosting another team, but we still want to see you in your Shark gear!

Meet Reminders

• We will not be hosting another team in person - it will just be our team swimming for safety reasons.
• There will be NO cars or golf carts in the parking lot as we will be using it for families to tailgate in. You will be able to drop your swimmer / tailgating items off using the Briar Creek Rd cul de sac beginning at 4pm. Feel free to set up your chairs, coolers, tents, etc in the parking lot. There should be plenty of room for social distancing!
• Parking will be available at in Sugar Creek (anywhere besides the “no parking” areas) or Covenant United Methodist Church.
• No pool chairs or tailgate chairs allowed on the pool deck, except for our swimmers.
• We suggest parents enter the pool ONLY to watch their swimmer.
• No concessions. Pack LOTS of concession type snacks and drinks because that's why your kids want to come to meets!

SPIRIT EVENT! After the meet, there will be a pool party. The party will not begin until the pool deck is put back together. Please stay to help and let the kids swim.

We’ve estimated that the meet will last about half the time as a normal meet. It’s going to be a lot of fun – we can’t wait to see you there!
