Social Activities for Divisional Week

• Friday, July 5 - Tuesday, July 9
  • Door Decorating Contest
  • Sugar Creek is hosting Divisionals this year and we want to show everyone our Shark Spirit! We ask that you decorate your front door/porch/yard/mailbox to show we are proud of our Sharks! Upload a picture of your decorated door to the Sugar Creek Sharks Facebook page. The coaches will choose a winner to receive a prize at the Divisional pep-rally. You can check out pictures of last year's doors on the Sharks Facebook page.
• Sunday, July 7 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Sugar Creek 1 Pool
  • Divisionals Kickoff Luau/Pasta Pump-up
  • We will kickoff Divisionals week with a team Luau at the pool. We ask each family with last names beginning with A-L to bring a salad to feed 10-12 people and families with last names beginning with M-Z to bring a pizza or pasta dish to feed 10-12 people. Please drop the food off at the clubhouse when you arrive for the party.
  • Lip-Sync Battle
    • Last year our lip-sync battle was a favorite with the swimmers, and we are bringing it back again this year. During our Divisionals Kickoff Luau/Pasta pump-up we will have our 2nd Annual Lip-sync battle. Have your swimmer and their group register here (one registration per group). Song clip must be no more than 60 seconds, and song selection must be submitted and approved by the committee. This is a first come first served basis, and we can only take up to 12 groups, so make sure to get signed up! Please submit any questions to Beth DuBose [email protected]
• Monday, July 8 - 12:00 PM - Camelot Cinemas
  • Team Movie Outing - Toy Story 4
  • Join the team for a movie outing at Camelot Cinemas to watch Toy Story 4. $12 per person gets you ticket, small popcorn and drink. Cash, Check or Card excepted. If paying by cash, please bring exact change. Make checks payable to Sugar Creek Sharks. Paying by card will include a 2.9% fee + 30cents.
  • Snowcone truck at afternoon practice
• Tuesday, July 9 - during morning practice
  • Spirit Craft
  • We will have supplies for each swimmer to create their own spirit craft either before or after their practice in the morning. We will meet under the pavilion.
  • Tuesday is also the last day to decorate your door and upload a picture to the Sugar Creek Sharks Facebook page.
• Wednesday, July 10 - 9:45 AM
  • Shaving Cream War
  • We will have a shaving cream war in the pool parking after 8U, 10U practice ends and 11-12, 13 and up practice begins. Please bring your own shaving cream. DO NOT purchase shaving cream with menthol (trust us, it burns!). You must be wearing goggles to participate.
• Thursday, Jul 11 - during morning practice
  • Spirit Day
  • Thursday is Spirit day! We will have supplies for swimmers to make signs, paint their nails, put on temporary tattoos, and more. We will also have supplies for parents to paint the windows of their cars to show their Shark spirit!
  • Divisional Pep Rally and Gift Hand Out
    • We will be meeting at lawn outside the clubhouse to get everyone pumped up for Divisionals and hand out this year's Divisional gift.
• Saturday, July 13 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Sugar Creek 1 Pool
  • Divisionals After Party
  • We will have a pool party to celebrate the end of Red Divisionals. Pizza will be provided, and we ask each family to bring an app or desert to share.
