Hi Shark Families-

We have our second meet of the season tomorrow at Gower Pool.

• Pool Location: 126 Shallowford Road, Greenville, SC, United States — Directions
• Warmups are 3:20-3:45
  • Meet starts at 4
• There will be tents over our swimmers
• There is a possiblility of bad weather.  Please make sure your download the swimptopia app.  That is how we will send out notifications.
• This will be a long meet as Gower is the biggest team in the division.  
  • We have already cut all C relays, and there is a possibility of another event being cut depending on timing
• Parking: Enter main pool parking lot then stay straight up the hill into Gower Park. Volunteers will direct you where to park on the grass. Parking is also available on the streets near the pool.
• Swimmer Drop Off:Enter main pool parking lot and follow the short counter-clockwise loop to the bottom of the ramp for the main pool entrance, where swimmers can unload. 
• Team Area:
  • SUGAR CREEK Swimmer Area: Located near the back/upper pool next to the fence. Area is uncovered but sufficient size for multiple small tents if you would like to bring them. Swimmers encouraged to bring deck chairs
• First half volunteers should check in by 3:30.
  • Officials: meet near back right corner of main/front pool
  • Clerk of Course: meet near deep end of main/front pool
  • Timers: meet near back left gate of main/front pool
  • Records/Runners: meet near gate for baby pool
  • Ribbons/Computer operators: meet corner near Coaches Room
• Spectator Seating: First come first serve. No bleachers available. Please bring your own deck chairs. Restricted areas will be appropriately roped off around the main/front pool. 
• Concessions: Available for purchase the duration of the meet. Accept Cash or Credit

Heat Sheets: $3/each (cash only), can be purchased at GOWER APPAREL table immediately to the right once you enter the pool. 

• Severe Weather Policy: Weather delays are activated and monitored by the pool Lifeguards. There is a limited covered area between the pools if just heavy rain, otherwise we will send everyone back to their cars to wait for instruction via text and the PA system

• Heat Sheets: $3/each (cash only), can be purchased at GOWER APPAREL table immediately to the right once you enter the pool.
